About Feme Fatal

First I am going to talk about the name of this blog. Yes, I know its spelt wrong. Right, now we have that out of the way I can tell you why its spelt wrong. And yes, there is a reason. Feme. This was originally Fem, I but someone had taken that one so I thought to add and e to the end. It also helped softened it a bit. The main part behind Feme was female (duh?). ‘Fatal’ is where I got a bit creative. Yes, I could have spelt it the traditional way but I wanted to be different, plus I wanted to give it “Umph”! Everybody has heard of a ‘Femme Fatale’, so much so, that it glosses over the purpose. By putting ‘Fatal’ I’m saying that this Fem/Femme has a sharp tongue that can be fatal. In this blog I like to write about important feminist issues with wit, humour, intelligence and if they really annoy me, some of that fatal tongue.

For now, I am not giving out the password to the Resources: Download page. I will in time but there doesn’t seem much point at the moment because there is nothing there to download.

I am a second year university student that has had the fortune to be elected women’s officer of my union. Before I came to university I did feel like a feminist, but since coming to university I know I am a feminist. I am very passionate about many feminist issues and I aim to show that through my writing.
